The Inspira Hostel is the realization of a dream that began in April 2008. Its main goal was to get a house that serves as a shelter for children with cancer that come from the interior of our Peru and need to be treated at INEN. Thus to offer them the opportunity to continue with their treatment and the possibility of a life expectancy.
In June 2011, the shelter received its first child. From there, the Inspira hostel has become a true oasis among such adversity.
Until December 2018, the hostel has received more than 900 families; its beds have been occupied more than 50 thousand times, it has served more than 250 thousand portions of healthy food. Inspira has been opening its doors for a year to also support children of the INSN of San Borja.
Inspira becomes a light between so much adversity. The main objective of the shelter is to promote the reduction of child mortality due to difficulties in staying and feeding in the capital.
